How Many Chapters?

I'm on Chapter 3, I think, and I can't remember exactly where I'm at but I'm well past the part where you have to save Olan.

I just want to know how many chapters there are and if I'm close to the end without any spoilers.

your probably about halfway done. There are 4 chapters, but chapter 4 is the longest, atleast it takes the longest to beat, and the most story comes from there.

And if you factor in the side quests, Chapter four is longer than the other three combined.

Without the quests, Chapter 4 is about Chapter 2 imho.

Wow...I didn't think there would even be side quests in FFT.

Yeah, there are. There's the propositions (even though they don't really count), the Deep Dungeon, and you can get all the rest of the special characters. To start the last one, though, you have to have kept a certain character, and you still have to keep him throughout the quest.
