How do you pronouce 'Bugenhagen?'

I think I spelled that right. I have always called him

BUNG-EMEN
I never liked the last part of his name so I messed with it.
I know someone around here calls him 'bugger-hugger' :shifty:

Boo - Gun - Hey- Gun
That's more or less how I always pronounced it.

Byu-gan-hay-gan. With the soft "G" like "gun."

Byoo-gen Haa-gen, soft 'G' as well.

Boo - gen - haa - gen. No soft 'g' for me. I take all the names far too literally, though.

'bugger-hugger', it has zip, it has flare.
I just call him that cuz I sounds funny and it rhymes.

And the g in gun is a HARD g, not a soft g. *slaps* A soft g would be how you pronounce the letter g in genie or gibberish, i.e. so it sounds like a j. I doubt any of you call him Bujenhajen :p
