Help with FF& opening fmv

Recently I installed FF& and could not play the game. Teh standard 8-bit pallette texture problem as I have a GF4 Ti4200

I installed the patches and when I selcted nVidia then the TNT option the screen appears to enter the game (by resizing) but then immediately resized again and I am kicked out back ot my desktop. I tried the Riva 128 next and have the same thing happen again. Both of these are using Direct3D

If I try softwrae mode
I do enter the game but the openning movie does not play, hitting enter I can get to the start new game but after that the screen in black again.

System:
1.33 ghz Athalon
GF4 Ti4200
Detonator 44.03 drivers
DivX 5.05

Any help would be appriciated.

btw- I am so pissed at edios as I cannot post in their forums even though I am registered and verified. grrr.

I don't think I've ever heard of that game. I think someone needs to move this thread to the "Final Fantasy And" forum. [/asshole mode]
