- When Squall gets impaled by Edea's icicles at the end of FF8 Disc 1, he says "Didn't a similar thing happen at the end of FF7 Disc 1 as well?"

- This is not my own idea, but I saw it in someone's signature. In that scene where Irvine's doing Edea's assassination operation, Squall says: "Look, Irvine, I didn't like Seifer either, but you were SUPPOSED to shoot the Sorceress!"

- When Yuna and Seymour get married and Seymour gets to kiss the bride, he says: "Would this be a bad moment to say that I'm gay?"

- When Tidus is hugging Yuna for the last time in FFX ending, Yuna screams "I'm flying! Jack, I'm flying! Oh crap, this is even more cliched than Titanic."

- When Cloud drives the motorcycle through the Shinra window (FF7 Disc 1): "Yeah! I'm Tom Cruise! Now gimme shades and some Mission Impossible music!"
