Isn't it arial, one of the defalt fonts on your computer?
I'm not sure... Didn't the dialogue-text have serifs? (If you don't know what serifs are, it's the difference between Arial and Times New Roman.) To the best of my memories, I haven't seen any font like FFIX's that I can name.
I usually use a font called SYSTEM, or I make my own font, which is how I usually create the dialogue boxes whenever I type out certain scenes.... :)
