Perhaps I'm missing something, but typing in "Originally posted by" each time I want to quote someone kinda bugs me. Is there any way to modify this?

Yes. Hit the quote button.
Use [q="Username"]Blah[/q]
to get:
[q="Username"]Blah[/q]
Or you could just hit the quote button.Quote:

Sorry. There is no way.
You're such a party killer.
Instead of saying "Originally posted by", why not go for something completely different? for instance...
That, or something similar, might serve to alleviate your boredom/frustration with the present quoting style...Quote:

I am SO tempted to make that the message that comes up every time that you quote a post.
Why not? After all, we've got [quote], [q], and [qi]; how about [qlongwinded] or [qbigdspecial] for those who crave a little archaicism in their quotes?
how about "originally posted by the user yclept Big D"
yclept?
"Yclept" = "known as".
Aye, forsooth.
Bloody. I thought I had Elizabethan english cold. I mean, who the *arf* else uses "belike" on a regular basis? It's an archaic term...
