Black Windows Cursor
Basically, I've been looking for a cursor set that's exactly like Windows 95/98 default, only instead of the arrows being white with a black border, I'd prefer them to be inverted and being black with white borders. If anyone knows where I could possibly find such cursors I would appreciate it.

They're installed with Windows as far as I can see, just go into Mouse Options in Control Panel, go to the Pointers tab, and select one of the Windows Black schemes :p Or if you only want to change a few arrows, double click them and look for the relevant cursors in the default folder it opens up in :p If they're not there, you possibly need your Windows CD and need to add the extra schemes etc. from Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

I've done both, actually. When I installed the extra cursors package, only 3D variations and bigger versions of the normal one were installed.

Strange, what version Windows is this? I have them all in front of me under Win2k.

Yeah, I found it pretty weird too. I remember having access to the cursor set before in my Windows 98, but now I seem to have everything but the black cursors.

I have them. I use Windows XP Home Verson.

Well there we go, we know they exist in all versions of Windows now, so you must have done sometihng strange to your installation :p

Comet Cursors probably has them, but you probably already know that they infest your computer with spyware.

Could anyone just zip up the black set and just attach it to a post? :aimwink:

I don't know how to - or if you can - just zip up the set so you could apply it as a scheme right away, but in any case here's all the cursors. I guess you'll have to set them manually, but there's not so many so it shouldn't be so bad (plus you can save it as a scheme once you set them so you won't have to do it again).
