EASY EMERALD

I've found an easy way to beat Emerald. Just get mime linked with counter on everyone and one with w-summon, knights of the round with hp absord and hades or chocomog with mp absorb hp and another with final attack and phoeix. Now get everyones Hp above 8000 and use demis to get there hp to end in something near 77 then use the catsbell or mini to make there hp end in exalty 77 then use hi-potions and potions to make them all 7777. Then fight it and you people will attack him about 15 times each for 7777 then go back to normal. Now use w-summon knights of the round chocomog and mine until it dies. ENJOY. Please tell me if this works for you.

er, you do know that the cat's bell only rounds moves your HP up to the nearest even number, so it would go from 76 to 78, you need to use the cat's bell to get your HP to 154, then use demi 2 on yourself....

In lucky 7, it's 64 attacks of 7777...however, I dunno if it's the same when you have multiple characters using lucky 7 at the same time...

i used lucky 7s when i fought emerald...i got in something like 80 hits...i think...i know that it did just shy of 500,000 damage

There's an even easier way. Make sure one character's max HP is 9999. Equip him/her with only 2 materias (I suggest Mime) and give him/her a mystile or another armor with high evade. Then equip someone with W-Summon and Knights of the Round linked to HP Absorb. Have that character W-Summon KotR and the character with only 2 materias mime it. Keep miming it until Emerald dies. There's one point when Emerald uses Aire Tam Storm, and if you're at full HP when it casts it, it will do 2*1111 HP = 2222 damage to you (1111 HP damage for each materia you've equipped). 9999 - 2222 = 7777 = Lucky 7 time. :) That should finish off the Emerald.

I like my way better, it's what I always used and you do know that one lucky 7 attack takes about half of Emerald's hp so 2 or 3 of them should kill him.

I may be wrong, but I think lucky 7s can only occur once per character per battle...but i guess that's all you need if you've hit emerald with KotR 6 times or so..

Nice plan Seph, but have you actually used it? I know that on my game, Emerald would use Revenge Stamp immediately before Aire Tam Storm, and that in turn would do about 2-3000 damage. You'd just have to hope the mystile made Emerald miss with revenge stamp I guess.

Aire Tam Storm does no. of materia x 1111 damage?!

Why did nobody tell me this before?!

Yep, I've tried it and killed the Emerald with it. When you're wearing Mystile, Emerald will usually miss Revenge Stamp. Unfortunately, in my game, Emerald used Revenge Stamp on me and it hit. But after that, I mimed Knights of the Round again. Emerald did Aire Tam again, and this time without Revenge Stamp. I got to Lucky 7's and smashed him to death. I don't have a pic of him dying, but I did take a pic of that lucky 7 moment.

By the way, I've noticed this about Emerald. After a few KotR's, he'll activate his Emerald Eyes. When you kill them with another KotR, he'll use Revenge Stamp and Aire Tam Storm. When you use another KotR after that, he'll always use the Aire Tam Storm again, without Revenge Stamp. So this is your chance to get the Lucky 7's.

quadra magic = hades
KTOR = HP absorb
Mime (=) W-Summon

inflicts poison and stop. does about 65,000-97,500. then absorbs 9,000 some hp. beat him in 5. wait, that was ruby dammit.

then

w-summon (=) mime
KTOR = hp absorb
must have sprint shoes to accomplish this in a decent amount of time without underwater materia

and aire tam storm does damage base on materia equipped, hence the name. so kill of one ur characters, before battling
