I found a CD-R in the parking lot of EB Games. I took it home to see what was on it, it was Warcraft 3 working fine, I installed it on my system after finding a keygen online. Which leads to my question. If I play on Battle.net will they recognize my bootlegged disc or do I need a legal key that comes with the game to play?
There's a good chance that you'll get caught if you try to play too much on battle.net.

I suggest you just play the single player over and over for now though. The game is rather expensive.
You said it was warcraft 3? Go buy the frozen throne for like 30$, and you can actually play either game online!
I don't know if playing in Reign of Chaos online using the frozen throne cd will have negative reprocussions, but that's what trial and error is for! ^_^
