I noticed some boxes in the game that have been sealed by a mysterious force and I cannot get it open. Is there any way I can open them and what kind of stuff is in the boxes??

You have to wait until (SPOILER)you go to Zeal and Marle's pendant is charged by the Mammon machine
Something else to keep in mind. . .
(SPOILER)There are several of these boxes that appear in 600 A.D. and 1000 A.D. You can make the contents of the box stronger by going to 600 and declining to open the boxes, and then go to 1000 and open them there.
And then you can go back to 600 A.D. and still get them there.
