since you all must have a dream ff party, come on who the hell is it.
Mine would personally have to be:
Cloud - 1 he is just so cool:D and 2 he is a great fighter
Zidane for his cool overdrives
Vivi for his black magic
Oh and yuna for the healing
So come on rules are party of 4 ( no sephiroth):mad:
Anyone from Final Fantasy VI since they can be molded into any role needed.
I'm going by the classic 4-person party:

Shadow
Vivi
Rosa
Cloud for being the main attacker, cos his sword rules over all ;)
Vivi for casting black magic of course and cos he's cute and one of my fave characters :D
Yuna or Garnet to summon and heal, either one would do really...
Rikku cos I wuv her :love: and she can pinch things and help out the others :D
Cloud for Omni-slash
Squall for Lionhart
Garnet for her summons(mainly Bahamut and that ultimate summon) and her healing abilities
Tidus for Blitz Ace
I agree with Flying Mullet. Characters of other FF games are rather limited compared to those of FFVI. If I had to choose the 4 most effective party members they would be:
Gau
Edgar
Celes
Cyan
If I had to choose based on coolness then:

Kain

rikku(very hot/trio of 999(that saved my ass many times)

Shadow ( i think? ninja? Well anyway he was a badass)
with pure intimidation these guys would destroy all
Cloud (With his ultima weapon, mastered: mime, final attack-pheonix-sp, w-summon, KOTR ((proven to be the most damaging FF spell yet)
Sephiroth (with the planet destoying nonsense summon he has)
Ninja class FF3 with 99 shurikens Masamune and Excalaber (I think he could use that)
Golbeze FF4
need I say more?
Traditional four man party:
- Tidus (fast attacker and can use time magic)
- Squall (can use magic and GF's)
- Garnet/Dagger (can heal and Summon)
- Lulu (can use Black Magic)
Squall (the coolest hero)
Tifa (great limit breaks)
Aerith (the best white mage. Great Gospel, anyone?)
Beatrix (combines great power with looking good)
