A question about monthly subscription and stuff...

Heya,
I was wonderin something - let's say I go out and buy FFXI right now and I get my 30 days free and stuff and then pay for one other month but don't have the money to keep paying for it, can I renew my subscription at a later date without losing my character and stuff?
I should probly ask Square about this...
I live in Canada and 12.95US a month is a lot for me... and plus I might wanna take a break and return to it every couple months... but it isn't really worth it if I lose my character :cry:

they save character data for 3 months after you unsubscribe, then poof it's gone

Can you use a ATM card for the subscription?

I dont have a credit card. My brother said you could use one of those visa check cards but I wanna make sure I can before I get one.

A keycard, maybe you call it something else where you live. It acts like a credit card so you can use EFTPOS and all that, the only problem is I think it deals with the savings account, so I don't know if you can use that.

Hahahaha, he means a LIBRARY card not a keycard. What you use to take out books at the library.

I know what he meant, I thought he was taking the micky out of me because I must have said something stupid. So I thought I'd clear it up.
