My floppy drive light stays lit whiles its not in use, and its not working and I was wondering if any of you can help me. I just got a new motherboard chip its a dfi lanparty II and I need to use my floppy drive so I can install RAID for my harddrives. Thanks in advance. Appreciated.
Maybe it's cables came loose? Otherwise I guess it's broken if it's like that the moment you boot the machine up, before any OS loads. Haven't used an archaic piece of hardware in a long time myself :p
The jumper is still connected but the IEEE cable might have come undone.
