I found this interesting at how someone would destroy a perfectly good game boy just to turn it into a fire cracker.

I heard of this on the news. Yes it is a waste of a good Game Boy.

I'm guessing it's the old GB, but this news article is seriously lacking details. May god help him if it was an SP.

That reminds me of this kid at my school who told his teacher he had a bomb, and he started hugging his bookbag. It was actually a game boy that he didn't want her to take from him.

ya know, I remember baaaack in the day, when I was in elementary school (busts out the grampa shawl, specs and cane), gameboy's were like an inch and a half thick, four inches wide and seven inches tall. that'd make one hay'll of a firecracker. if ya took a buncha fire crackers and stuffed the whole casing full, that'd be probably more than a stick of dynamite.

I'm just glad it wasn't a Game Gear, I always like them better because of the backlit screen that Nintendo put on their handheld eventually. And the TV adapter <3

On topic though, that's just stupid. If it was an old Gameboy then the chunky thing would have caused enough damage just throwing it at someone.

The old Game Boy is already a weapon of mass destruction. Just drop it off a tall building, and it'll make a crater the size of a city.
