Okay, curiosity got the better of me and I don't know if anyone knows the answer to this or how to find out. How many people register per day that never post?

Well, since the start of February up to the time of this post, there've been 194 new users registered. Out of these, 107 have never posted. I can't give earlier accurately though since the last prune Shlup did was on non-posters that hadn't visited before the 1st of February so some of these would have been deleted. :p
That's good enough for me. I'm just surprised that someone would take the time to register and then never post, considering they can browse and read the forums and threads without registering.
they can't browse EoEO or WE without registering. Or this forum. I suppose there's that.
They don't know that, do they?
Anyways, that's a pretty good number that actually DO post, so...
They don't know about this forum, but EoEO says right on it that you have to be registered and logged in to view threads, and it's pretty obvious that WE is the same way.
Wow. I never expected the amount of non-posters to be quite so high.Quote:

Maybe they're all second accounts... *shrug*
We have a lower percentage than FFWA / FFO, too. Man, they must stack up over there.
That's 'cause they force you to register to view the forums. It wasn't like that at FFWA a year ago, tho'.
Purging time
Maybe if we offered something like cookies or wombats they would stay. If that doesn't work just threaten to break their les or something. I find that generally works when you want people to do something.
