Dial-up vs. Broadband
Alright, for a class, I have to select a group of people and poll them on whether they have dial-up or broadband. This is for world geography. I don't know what this have to do with geography, but oh well.
And if you vote, please sign this thread. I'll make up REAL signatures later.

Who the hell would pick dial-up? Eww.
Broadband.

I know. Ewww. But it's what I'm stuck with.

I use to have dial up at $8/mo. The service was great, if I didn't have DSL, I wouldn't mind it again.
But those who can't afford broadband, dial-up from Starpower is a great alternative. And Netzero's High Speed dial-up isn't bad either.

I have the schools network, which is LAN1 I think...*has no clue of computer*

I shall never go back to dial-up. Even if my life depended on it.

How can you tell the difference? D:

Broadband at its best is 6 times as fast as dial-up.

Well that doesn't mean anything to me because I can't compare them.
-
Broadband.
I don't know how I could go back.
