Is it just me, or did many of the monsters in Terra Tower very closely resemble ones from the Black Omen in CT? Or am I just going crazy?

Is it just me, or did many of the monsters in Terra Tower very closely resemble ones from the Black Omen in CT? Or am I just going crazy?
The only Star Tower monsters I can recall off the top of my head are the shadow things and the cherub things, and I can't say there were anything like them in the Black Dream.
I recall there being a few of those mutant thingys in the Tower like the one that you had to fight at the begining of the black omen. Like I said though, I could be going crazy.
