Cooler?

Uhmm......... can som1 tell me who is much cooler, Squall or Laguna? Cause' my friends always argue with that topic.:(

If your talking gamewise, Laguna. Though Squall may not have had that many friends, people sure knew who he was in the game. Even at the start, they knew him as Seifers rival and a young man who was constantly having a go with him.

Laguna...Simply wasnt a popular type. People liked him, adored him, and later on in the game[spoilers] he was chosen to lead a sort of resistants against Adel force,and ended up sealing her away,becoming president of esthar[/spoilers].He was quite a numb skull,so people (while he was in the army) proabably ignored him for the most part.

so...Laguna.

If your speaking of who we believe is the most popular...Again,Lagunas got my vote.I just love him.:D

I'm curious, what make you think that if we have an argument about it on this forum, it will help your friends settle theirs?

Anyway, it boils down to personal preference and definition of 'cool'.

Squall is cooler in the sense that he tends to hide his emotions and remain aloof and (seemingly) uncaring. He's also more mysterious as a consequance, and many people find those qualities cool. Obviously one of the major character arcs is how he thaws enough for people to see that he does care.

Languna is temprementally the opposite. He wears his heart on his sleeve, almost always saying what he thinks. He's impulsive and sometimes clumsy, both which get him into trouble. But his warmth and dedication get admiration from his friends. A lot of people would find that cool.

Personally I would find it exasperating to be friends with either of these people, for completely different reasons. But I prefer warm people to remote people, so I'd go with Laguna as being cooler.

Wow... this is like asking if ice is warmer than snow...

You make it sound as if there were a definative answer, TsZcRaIdEn17, when there obviously isn't. It would be like asking your friends which one of them was cooler - there's no real correct answer. Like BG-57 said, its a matter of personal preference as to which character you happen to like more or admire more or whatever. Personally, I think Cid is mad cool, and I'm positive plenty of people would disagree with me on that. But I don't really care. My advice? Let your friends argue until they're blue in the face, but don't get all bent out of shape about it. It's just a video game.:)
