Can anybody tell me.......???? :confused:
WHAT HAPPENED TO TIDUS?!?!?!?!?!
Sorry, but I really want to know. I'm quite far into the game, but not far enough to now where Tidus went, etc etc. Could some-one, ANY-ONE, please tell me!? :confused:
Also, the guy in the sphere (the one at the beginning that Yuna shows Lulu, with that guy in, supposedly Tidus-), is he actually Tidus, or that Shuin character (you know, as a red herring)? :confused:
Help would be MUCH appreciated! :)

Ok, what happens to Tidus depends on what route you take in playing this game. If you play FFX and go talk to the all the fayths again after you get the airship, they will tell you what will happen to Tidus. The fayth will stop dreaming Zanarkand, but they will dream a place for Tidus to be, I guess in gratitude for helping Yuna defeat Sin and letting them stop dreaming. So at the very end of FFX, you see Tidus emerge in some water and swim to the surface. Now one of two things happens here.
1) This is just the place that the fayth dreamt for Tidus. Whenever Yuna is in the Farplane, Tidus is there. He tries to helps her escape from the Farplane, and at the end of FFX-2, when Yuna has defeated Vegnagun, his silhouette emerges, and he says the goodbye that he didn't get to say the last time he saw Yuna. And Tidus stays in the place the fayth dreamed for him, I guess until he lives his life.
2) Yuna succeeds in defeating Vegnagun, and she has freed the fayth from Shuyin's grasp. Now I don't know where Tidus has been this whole time. His spirit may have been with Yuna this whole time (which explains several things that happen to Yuna outside of the Farplane), or his spirit may have been in the Farplane this whole time, and somehow she can hear his voice. Either way, Yuna asks the fayth if she can see him again, and again in gratitude the fayth say they will see what they can do. And you see Tidus in the water just as you did at the end of FFX, but when he swims to the top he emerges in Besaid, about the same place in the ocean as he was the first time he showed up to Besaid. And the Celsius shows up to Besaid, and Yuna jumps out of the Celsius before it lands and goes to Tidus and they embrace.
The man in the sphere is Shuyin. Yes, he greatly resembles Tidus, but he is not Tidus. Shuyin lived a thousand years ago in Zanarkand before Sin destroyed it. Shuyin and Tidus have no relation that is stated in the game (at least that I saw). BigD might give a post and say that the fayth that dream Zanarkand possibly knew Shuyin, and created Tidus with the memories of Shuyin. I accept that as possible, I don't know if I agree with that, but it does make sense. I like to think that Yuna/Lenne and Tidus/Shuyin are connected to one another through circumstantial coincidence, similar to the Squall/Laguana and Rinoa/Julia circumstance. Tidus and Yuna (well mostly Yuna) saw the flaw that Shuyin and Lenne faced, a similar flaw to what she and Tidus face, and was able overcome the obstacle that Shuyin and Lenne could not. That's just my thought on the matter, I could very well be wrong.
