Flower Power?

I understand the sentiment and mentality, but I also think this is beginning to get out of hand.

I DON'T understand the mentality. Or lack thereof, as the case may be.

I had the chilling image of somebody throwing a bomb amidst the flowers. It could happen.

I'm pretty sure you could easily hide even something simple as a small gas-filled plastic bottle in a bouquet of flowers if you were that determined. If it said don't hurl anything, rather than specifying flowers, at least it'd sound more sensible though :p Maybe some of the checks they're doing seem over the top, but I'd expect some sort of security regardless.

Now that's funny. Those crazy Danes.

Oh, and our prince is also getting married in ten days!

With a friend we commented how we would allow an Al Quaeda sniper to shoot at the prince from our balcony, then denounce the killer, be considered heroes, be threatewned to death by Al Quaeda, write a best seller book full of invented information, go to a reality show to cry and become famous, then record a CD and appear as main character in a couple of bad movies. :rolleyes2

It's a good plan, I believe, but throwing a flower bomb sounds cool too.

I don't know what kind of flowers these Danes throw... but if their flowers are as big as their dogs, there's place for worry.
