Rick Wakeman
Anybody here like solo Rick Wakeman stuff? For those of you who don't know who he is, he's most famous for his work with Yes. But his solo catalogue is fantastic. Especially stuff like The 6 Wives of Henry VIII and Journey to the Centre of the Earth. I personally think they're both fantastic classic/symphonic prog rock albums, the narration is great, the whole albums paint grand stories... there's a good mix of orchestral stuff and yes-ish rocking stuff. I love these albums :D

I'm sorry, but no.
Hawkwind > All
Either that or Emmerson, Lake and Palmer.

Is it that guy whose songs clock up to 30 minites long?
I've not heard any of his stuff to judge on whether it's good or not. Just asking.

30 minute songs is not uncommon in progressive/symphonic rock :p
I like ELP, but the only Hawkind I know was a covers medley I like... =/
Oh well, Rick Wakeman still remains on of the greatest keyboardists of all time, to me
