Shadow's daughter?

A friend told me that if you have Shadow in your party a some points when you rest, you will see dream sequences that shows things about Shadow and his past, including who his daughter is.

I didn't get the dreams, and I doubt I'll play the game again soon. Anyone know about that?

Relm is his daughter. They never out and out say it, but everything points to it.

Shadow was a robber named Clyde, and he and his friend Baram began calling themselves Shadow. Baram was wounded and Clyde chased still... Clyde eventually found his way to Thamasa. There a woman found him and nursed him back to health. The neck clip shows Shadow himself (Clyde is Shadow, I just mean Shadow as we know him, in the ninja gear) and interceptor leaving Relm's home, Shadow telling the dog to 'Stay here and take care of the girl'.

Hence the reason why Interceptor likes Relm ("That dog hates strangers.") and the reason Shadow can also equip the Momento Ring (Departed Mom's love protects from fatal magic attacks).

I think there are specific inns that you have to stay at if you want the dream sequences, but I can't for the life of me remember them. I also remember hearing there were about seven in all.

I know I've gotten a few when staying at Jidoor. I don't know if there are specific inns for not but since I've had luck there I usually go there to watch the sequences.

There arent any specific inns. You can get them anywhere, you just need to do it enough times.

I like to take him to Jidoor, Thamasa, and Doma Castle, but it doesnt really matter where.

No, there are no specific inns you have to sleep at. Almost any of them will do. AFIAK, it's impossible to get any of Shadow's dreams at the inn in Thamasa though.

Did Relm ever realize or suspect Shadow was her father? I can't remember since I haven't played the game in a while. Also I wonder if Strago knew about Shadow and Relm. I wish in the end of the game, Shadow and Relm could have hugged or something, and have a moment to realize what they are to each other. :mog:

I dont think Relm suspects, no, but at certain moments Strago seems to maybe suspect it. I cant think of any in particular, but it seemed to me that perhaps Strago knew. I would think that Relm thought her father was dead, and regardless I think it was a way to show how strong the bond between Relm and Strago (who isnt even a blood relative) that she isnt looking for her father or curious about him.

Actually, I believe that Relm knows that her father left her (but I'm sure she has no idea that Shadow is her father), maybe that's why she likes Strago so much.

You can see something about it in her own dream, that can be seen when you let Shadow die in the floating continent.
