A Good Summer Buy

Because of my recent decision to cancel the purchase of FFXI, I was wondering what would be a good game to buy instead. I'm looking for something on either PS2 or Gamecube. If it helps, here are the games that I have for PS2 and Gamecube plus a few that I played and liked.

For sheer game time, get GTA: VC.

If you like fast-pace 2-d scrolling action games. Take a look at Viewtiful Joe for GCN. It's quite challenging, so it's worth the money.

PS2:
Silent Hill 2 and 3
Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2(It's best to wait for one or both of these titles. The PS2 version of VJ1 has Dante from DMC in it, so it's best to get that instead)

I second the Silent Hill 2 and 3, but I'd say play the first one as well, they're all good games.
