Laguna
I'm playing FF8 again and got up to the part where Laguna goes to speak to Julia in her room, normally he just waffles on talking and then its over, but this time he fell asleep! I found this quite amusing but strange and it's never happened to me before...has this happened to you?
:)

did u do something different the would really change the dream out?
-
he always falls asleep in that scene with julia. I have been known to pass out when extremely drunk (litre and a half of whisky or more) and i once passed out whilst chatting up a girl
-
He's just always stayed awake in that scene for me...
-
He has always gotten tipsy and fallen asleep for me. But I've heard of this. I believe this occurance has to do with who you speak with first before you go to her room, Kiros or Ward. I don't remember who I usually speak with, but it's the one closest to where Laguana is standing when you regain control. Do you remember if you spoke to one or the other first, or if you spoke to either one?

You can either talk to her or pass out- I only found out when I watched my friend stay awake for the whole thing! I think it has something to do with your choices in the game- like what you say to other characters?

hmm a moot point even I missed. still I like the falling asleep part it gave a insightful look to how things could've been. It's actually why the entire situation in the story is Laguna's fault, if he'd gone back to Julia then no Squall and possibly no Rinoa either so none of it would have happened.

Hah i have only stayed awake...never fallen asleep before bu after playing ff8 like 5 times its time to take a break for a year or so.
-
I always fell asleep! I'll probably end up replaying the game to see that again.
-
Just fell asleep, it was pretty cool. Not anything too plotworthy though
-
i ahve had both happen to me, but i have no idea how to make it do one or the other.

TIMBER MANIACS!
Whether Laguna falls asleep or not depends on a certain Timber Maniacs magazine. I'm not sure which, but I'm pretty sure you can get it right before the scene starts...
