Welcome to ten years ago.
Erm... Oldie but Goodie? No, that phrase sounds sucky for some reason. How about, IT'S STILL GOOD!!! (like beating up your younger brother as you grow up. Old, but fun.)
Every single person should definitely play it. I'd say the people who don't already have it can relax for a while longer, though, as we probably don't have too long to wait now before it's rereleased for the GBA or as an extra in Prime 2 or something.
Replay... 9/10!!! BLASPHEMY
Haha, seriously, it's one of my favorite games, and is the most replayable (with continued enjoyment) game, ever, period.
Ya know, some people don't like doing the same thing over for 3 hours. Personally, I like it enough to give it 12 replay, but some people wouldn't give it a 3/10. Although those people would be reading a review for Street Fighter or Mortal Wombat or something... freaks.
Super Metroid can be infinitely replayed because you can always improve your time, do better, feel better about your record, whatever... I am thrilled to shave a minute off my speed run, because that means I'm getting that much closer to perfect at the game.
One of the greatest games ever made and I can replay that thing forever but I would still give replay value a 4 or a 5. There really is no insentive to go back and play it that much. The best ending really isn't worth it.
I love this game. The best thing is the reset glitch. Because of that, I have 40 energy tanks now and over 8 reserve tanks. Using Plasma on some of the early bosses is especially humourous.
Its just a great game. A tad on the easy side though. The original was by far, much harder.
When does it come out?
Just in time for your 13th birthday!Quote:
