ALright, my party and all my people ROCK, level 50 and above, but when I go to the Coliseum, Chupon blows me away with a sneeze before I can have my CELES get her freak on.
How do you beat this first guy for SHADOW later on?!
Chupon only appears if you bet a weak item, like a potion. You have to bet better items and equipment to fight anything other than Chupon. If you talk to people around the colisuem, you'll see that they say that Chupon appears to get rid of people with dinky wagers that are wasting the coliseum's time.

There's no 'line' of people to fight. You fight one guy per bet, and that's it. To fight Shadow, you have to save him and then bet the Striker.
