Mines vertical to save space. And I found out the thing with the logo while I was setting it up.
I've always kept it horisontal.
Vertical, it looks so much better standing up.
Horizontal is more stable and it's easier to insert the disc.

My friend Robert had his vertically place but his cat "Magus" came can knocked it over, the PS2 hit the floor and the disc tray lid opened when it hit floor, the disc for Devil May Cry was lodged in there, he had to open up his PS2 to take the disc out but the disc was so scratched that he can't play it anymore, he went to get it resurfaced.
Horizontally. It's easier, and I don't really have a decent place to stand it vertically.
I'm not going to spend more money to buy a stand just to stand it up.
Sony does not have a history of making duarble products. Horizontal is safer.
You don't really need the stand. Just a couple of flat surfaces. It doesn't stop it from being a pointless idea, though.Quote:

Horizontal for the safeness factor.
Vertical. I used to keep it horizontal until one day, for some reason, it stopped playing blue-backed discs. Then when I turned it vertical, it played them again. I also do it to save space. I knew you could stand it up since it came out.
