Police Academy 8 has been confirmed.

I enjoyed the first 2, but then it just got silly.

Any other thoughts on this?

The Police Academy movies are somewhat entertaining, but they were way too repetitive. I liked the first 3 movies, but they started to get old after that. The Mission to Moscow was plain horrible, IMHO. It also sucked how Mahoney wasn't on the later movies. Did his actor die or something? At any rate, I don't really like the idea of an 8th Police Academy movie. I wonder if it will be a pure cashing film.
