The ESPY's

I know this was like, 2 weeks ago...but anyone think this awards show is overated?

I can't think of anything more overated on TV than this show. I rather watch reality shows. They honor the same athletes the AP and other writers honor.

It's a 3 hour sports show that never really caught my attention. I mean this show is like the Emmy's, but the actors are replaced by athletes. Not even that, half the nominated athletes FAIL TO SHOW UP. I just wish ESPN quit hyping this thing up because it's just a sad product.

Yeah, I could care less about the ESPYs. You never hear of athletes bragging that they won an ESPY. They probably care about as much as I do.

Jamie Foxx is a great host for it, though. He made so many Laker jokes.

The award for sports stars is winning a championship. Plus, various leagues have their own MVP awards. I think a show like this is a little much, but most award shows are.
