Which items do I need to get Break Damage Limit and Alchemy and where do I get them?
I think alchlemy is on medical sounding armour
break damge is on on the celestial (ultima) weopons.
I meant, 'Where do I get the items to customize Alchmey and BDL onto other weapons?'.
Lots of hi potions i beileve ( around 99) for alchemy and bdl you need those damn crest and sigils
I don't think those are right. I know there's a way to get BDL on a weapon other than the Celestials. I don't know the items I need to do it, however. (hence, this thread)
As for the 99 Hi-Potions... I'll buy them and see what happens. It can't be too expensive. I have over 1.3 million Gil, after all.
rich bastard, of course now that i have access to the omega (i always got yojimbo before the yunalesca fight) i can buy all the music speres (all 68) and still have most of my gil^^ so who am I to judge (my Rikku has alchemy it rockswith al bhed potions)

SITB first off nice new sig, secondly some people have too much time (2.5 mil gil myself) there should be more worth buying in that game.
Ansem, to get break damage limit you need Dark Matter x 60, which you can get from acquiring Ultima Buster in the monster arena (actually you'll get 99 of them). To equip Alchemy you need four of the healing waters which you can get from fighting Adamantoise. You'll find Adamantoise in the Omega Ruins and inside Sin. You've got to steal the healing water from him though as he won't drop it.Quote:

Drop Rare from Area/Species Bosses in Monster Arena.
99 for unlocking Ultima Buster
You don't need much Dark Matter (unless you're playing PAL and need Ribbon) because Ultimate Weapons come powered up with Break Damage Limit. But if you max out the Sphere Grid, you'll pick up a lot of Dark Matter in the process from fighting all those Species bosses a bunch of times.
