Have you ever mistaken someone here for another gender? Some people have names where you don't know if they are boy(?) or a girl (?)

No. I am perfect in every way. Everyone is of neutral (neither male or female) gender in my head until I know for sure. Usually, I will check their profile if I want to know. People should get into the habit of doing that for me.

nobody has ever mistaken me for a girl, but there was that one time i thought Spatvark was a girl........ :sweatdrop

seph = Sephiroth = Guy.

That's how I work these things. If someone has a male character's name in their username, I generally assume they're a guy until I'm told otherwise. D=

i allway do this online, but it's when you think a woman is a man when you actualy meet them that it's really awkarrd.

sephxangel posed quite a problem, since Sephy is a guy, yet Angel is a 'girly' screen name. Eventually I decided to stop guessing and actually look at her profile. :D

I tend to associate gender with either the screen name or avatar of a member, though often it comes up in general conversation anyway. The best advice is, if you're not sure of a person's gender, look it up.

I think it was hooter who said:
"Man in avatar= Man
Woman in avatar= Woman
Cat in avatar= Cat with opposible thumbs"

At the time I had a database RedXII in my avatar so I was in the latter.

I sometimes get confused, but then when I can be bothered I actually look at there profile to see what gender they are.

Well normally I just assume everybody is a guy, except for the obviously girly members like Leeza, Eternal Shiva and Rainecloud. :smash:
