question about the phoenix cave...

hey in the phoenix cave just before you get locke ive have always noticed the shiny red light up on a ledge to the right and one day i managed to get to it and it turns out to be a teleport, and i thought WHY?? i dont understand why there is a teleport there cause you wouldnt be in the cave unless you wanted locke and once you get him you automatically leave anyway so why is it there? cheers.

You could want to get back to get some of the chests or fight the monsters there. :)

I personally believe it's there to trick you into losing the progress you've already made into the cave, especially during the first play-through when your characters aren't optimized in the least and most likely underleveled.
