I'll probably flip it on and watch for a little while. I don't really have a favorite Olympic sport, but track and field should be interesting. Here's hoping everything goes smoothly and that there is NO terrorist problems.
Take care all.
Amen to that. I hope the games are really good this year, I hope they're competitive!
The Olympics aren't really attractive to me as the organizers stunt the potential of the athletes by barring stimulants such as speed and cocaine.
Since i live in Greece i'm going to watch them. Here in Patras they're going to be held some football matches(hope to see famous persons,i heard that the Portugal team stays in a hotel in Rio,if i could see Ronaldo  !).Anyway my favorite sport is track too.
I have no interest in the Olympic games, but I can't deny that the opening show (right before the parade of nations) was awesome to watch. I'll probably look it up to download in a couple days.
Yeah, I'll be watching the rowing, being a rower myself. And some other sports as well. The Olympics in general are pretty bloody amazing to watch - the athleticism is incredible.
Being quite the patriot, my favourite sports to watch are the ones asians compete in and have a chance of winning. Diving, Table Tennis, the martial arts such as Judo, Gymnastics, Volleyball andSoccer:p
In Australia, we get a lot of Olmypic hype and it's hard to ignore Roy and HG every night when they're just so damn funny.
Maybe, just a bit.
I don't watch the olymipcs. I don't like any of the events. I actually refer to the olympics as 'The sports no one gives a damn about'. How often every year do you turn on the TV to watch a good game of Pole Vaulting?
I watch the Winter Olympics from beginning to end, but somehow I just can't get into the Summer Olympics. I'm sure I'll end up watching some bits though.

I'll watch what I can. I just finished watching the China-USA Indoor Volleyball match. I wanna see some baseball/softball, and hopefully a bit of basketball. The swimming and track/field sports just don't tempt me all that much.
I'll be watching. I can't wait for the, um, synchronised swimming.
Track and field athletics include my favourite events. Long-distance running is good as well (if only to marvel at how fit the athletes are!).
Yeaah! I watched some of it today, like Womens Vollyball USA lost to china. :( And men's boxing USA won against china. :D
