In December of 2001 I meet someone in the EoFF FF8 Forum who would change my life. I came to the forum looking for some help on the battle with Adel and before I knew it I was making new friends. About a month after I signed up I meet Jonathan, of course, I didn't know him by his name then. In Spring of 2002 we started "going out," even though it seemed so odd to me at that time since he was across the Atlantic Ocean... But on July 19th, 2003 we met for the very first time in person when he arrived at Newark airport... the three weeks that followed were pure bliss-- we knew it was love. Last Christmas I visited his home in Sweden and only two weeks ago he left for home after spending over two months with me this summer.
What's the point of this whole story? I would've never though people could fall in love online and much less handle the distance, but here I am. And I know I'm not the only one. I know there are a few other EoFF couples who've found love here...
So thank you, EoFF, for letting me find love. I have been wanting to thank you, all of you, for a very long time. Because by just being here, you've changed my life more than you shall ever know.
