Indeed. People can usually tell when you're not being yourself. Being "fake" I believe its called. Of course I don't really understand why people want to go to such great lengths to be accepted. Maybe I'm just out of the loop or something.

Of course its best to be yourself. Life is more enjoyable when you arent hiding behind some pathetic mask. And why is this in world events?

I have several characters that I made up and sometimes I choose to play their personalities. I don't know why. Usually it's when I meet somebody new, or someone I haven't seen in a long while. They don't like it very much.

If who you are is not who you want to be, then change. Otherwise, sobbing about it won't do any good.
