So, did you all watch this? What were your thoughts on this? Personally, I thought John Edwards got trashed. He recovered somewhat near the end, and made a few strong points, (especially his closing speech) but overall I think Cheney won this one.

This debate was sad for both of them. They didn't really answer the questions they were presented with half the time and when it came time for rebutal they went off on tangents about voting records or the miss management of Iraq.
They both lost this debate. There is no winner. If there is a winner it is like choosing a winner of a 0-0 football game that has gone into overtime 8 times still with no one scoring. It was sad all around.
I figure that it was a draw. they both had good points. I thought it was riddiculous how cheney said he never linked 9/11 to saddam. msnbc showed a tape of him linking them a yer earlier. but that was the only thing that stood out in my mind.
I.C. No clear winner for me.
*has enough to laugh at from the presidential debates still so he didn't bother to watch* :D
Listening to them constantly haranguing on each other PLUS having to look at Cheney? Not fun.
All joking aside, it didn't really seem that decisive. They just countered and attacked with pretty much the same points throughout the entire debate.
I know this happened a while back, but did anybody notice that it didnt look like John Edwards was actually talking? It looked like he was lip syncing it the whole way... Odd...
What was most funny was when Cheney said to check out a website to verify his facts, when the website he mentioned was in fact an Anti-Bush site.
Take care all.
Was it really? Haha, that makes me smile.
Does anyone have that site by any chance?
www.factcheck.com
just for fun
www.youforgotpoland.com
EDIT: I guess factcheck.com no longer exists. The real site that he meant to say was www.factcheck.org . The site mentions that Cheney accidentally said factcheck.com
