Can anybody kinda give me step-by-step instructions on setting up Outlook to check my email at Gmail?
*obligatory post regarding how MS Outlook is of course, a Microsoft product and is therefore by default inferior no matter how good it actually is and points you towards the Mozilla alternative.*
..........no, I just can't give advice that might make someone MORE likely to use Outlook. Use anything but Outlook. Honestly, anything.
I'm pretty sure you can't. Gmail isn't POP3, which is what you would need in order to get it sent directly to your OE or Thunderbird. There might be a way to set it up to forward your messages or for it to forward you a message when you recieve an e-mail, though.
I don't think you can yet. But I heard they are working on making it possible.
You can always get Thunderbird in preparation of when support does become available though :p
I use mozilla firebox, but MS doesn't allow other programs to receive email via non-MS programs (like outlook express). So seeing as 2/4 of my email addresses are hotmail, what do I do?
Of course I could just not use hotmail, which is always an option *considers*
now all you need to do is berate me until I change my mind :D
Need a Gmail invite?
Yeah, fo real. I still have all six of mine.Quote:
