Secret of Mana weapons & elementals.

In Secret of Mana (or Seiken Densetsu II), what was you favorite weapon and elemental? Which ones of the two were your least favorites?

I always use the fire elementals in battle against the bosses. Other than that I don't really have any preferences.

I like the sword I guess, it's well balanced. The spear is also good since it has more range, but the boomerang, whip, bow and javelin just don't work well for me for some odd reason.

I like Shade a lot, his attacks are easy to use the enemy freeze glitch on and they hit nice and hard on most enemies. Also, WHAT THE HECK IS HE SUPPOSED TO BE?!?!?! :)

Sword, spear, and knuckles were my favorite weapons.
My favorite spirit was probably Lumina (Wisp).

Shade is pretty much just a shapeless shadow isn't he?

He's like an eyeball with bat wings.

He's a...shade. It's like asking what Lumina is supposed to be.

So what is Lumina?

Duh, a white flame with eyes. :rolleyes2

Sword, spear, and whip. I hate the gloves, you usually end up getting knocked down before you get your attack in.

Dryad's cool, but for usefulness of spells I'd say Undine, Salamando, and Lumina.

Hmmm...I prefered the spear....and the whip. The sword was useful too...

As for spirits...I didn't have a fave powerwise...I used Lumina a fair bit in the last area, so I guess I'll go with that...

Who had the lightning bolt spell? I usually had that spell pumped up really high.

I remember going through with my characters and having them max out the levels on all the weapons and the spells that I liked. It was rather nice.

I forget his name in Secret of Mana....I know it's Djinn in Seiken Densetsu 3, so maybe it's the same here...

Slyphid is his name, if I recall correctly.

Oh, and in Seiken Densetsu 3, my faves were Hawk (Knives, basically) and Wisp. I dunno why, but I have this affinity for light.
