Whether it's biting nails, talking on cell phones in check out aisles, or newbs starting threads... What is it that drives you to brink of insanity.
My pet peeves:
-People who eat with their mouths open, suck their teeth or smack their lips
-Being interrupted in mid sentence
-Telemarketers
My pet peeves are people making threads asking about pet peeves, and Don Le. Don Le is totally my biggest pet peeve. I just can't stand people with the name Don Le. Does anyone else agree with me?
Being a cashier for Safeway, I have a long list of pet peeves. Here's a few of them:
-Attempting to go over the limit in the express lane
-Plopping a handbasket on the counter without unloading it
-Bombarding me with a telephone number without uttering so much as a "Hello"
-Unloading groceries on the counter and then leaving to get "one thing I forgot" (it's ALWAYS more than one)
-Blaming me for things that are CLEARLY not my fault (such as forgetting their PIN#, or using an expired credit card)
-Coming through the checkstand with a truckload of groceries five minutes before closing
-Blatent disregard for company policies (in particular, no exchanges or returns without a receipt)
-Cutting into the line (I don't CARE if you're in a hurry; you can wait your turn like the rest of the people here!)
-Unloading mittfuls of loose change (especially when the line-ups are long)
-Calling the store with stupid questions
-Idiots
-People who think they're better then everybody else
-Bush
-When people try to force their opinions on others and making them think that "My opinion is right, you're dumb and evil for not agreeing with it"
-The fact that a WWII game is made every 2 days
-The "Low Carb" trend"
-Rap Music
-Television
-People who bully others because of physical apperences
-People who belittle others for being overweight
-People who don't use proper grammar and spelling. (Even though I do this every once in awhile. Doesn't mean I don't get angry at myself for doing it.)
-Talking on the phone
-Girls Gone Wild commercials
-People mispronouncing words. (My grandmother pronounces ramen (ro-MEIGN) and Iraq (eye-RACK). God, I hate the midwest.)
-Talking about my day.
-People who refuse to drop something when I don't feel like talking about it.
-My grandmother's voice. *shudder* Its so high-pitched when she yells, and I have sensitive ears.
-The fact that everyone expects me to yell across the house when they call me for something. I hate to yell, and if I don't answer then they yell again after three seconds. Its so irritating.
-NASCAR
-Pro wrestling
-Sephiroth fanboys
-Cloud fanboys
-People who talk on their cellphones in the theatre. (Cinema or stage.)
-Diet soda
-Overly zealous religious groups
-The Christian Coalition
-People who use bible/torah/quran/etc. versus as a basis for an argument.
-People who feel the need to interrupt my meditation. (I finally clear my mind, and start to find myself, and all of a sudden..."CHASE!!!" Or as I hear it "SCREEEE" *shudder* Just thinking about that drives me crazy)
-Creative writing assignments
-People who hate poetry because its "gay"
-People who call me gay because I like poetry and opera.
-People who use gay as an insult.
-People who think having sex is the most important thing you can do.
-People who hate technology, because its "unnatural" or "against God's will"
-Yuppies
-the "Croissan'wich"
-Pizza Inn
-Random people that IM me and tell me to join their forum/rpg/chat/etc.
-People who typ liek thiss!!!!111

-Anybody who is against anything for no reason.

-People who hate art because its "pornographic" (I guess you have to get to the point where you hardly even acknowledge sex in the first place to appreciate art.)
-"Patriotism" (The modern kind, where "USA is no.1" and "Saddam Hussein and Bin Laden were working together" and "Who cares about our rights when we can stop those terrorists."
I think that's about it. I might think up some more later.

-People who drive up and down the street with their windows rolled down playing loud rap music, I mean these guys don't even go anywhere, they just drive up and down the street and sometimes in circles.
I really only have one pet peeve and it's a strange one. I hate it when people jiggle their leg... Like when they're nervous or whatnot
-People who mispronounce in an act of trying of make fun of it. (Like pronouncing manga with short 'a's as mango with short 'a' and long 'o')
-Complete *idiots
-People who are full of themselves

I'm guilty of those. But on the first one, I'm good at keeping it at one, and on the second, if I'm counting change, I try to make it fast, and it's cuz I'm out of options...Quote:
