Ranged Accuracy

So what stat is it that affects ranged accuracy? I was advised by a party member whose main is a lv 48 Elvaan rng that agi affects ranged and I should ditch my Balance Rings. A Sam in my linkshell says that she's full of himno and it's dex that affects accuracy and agi only affects evasion.

I'm looking at you, Mik. I know rng is your main.

I was under the impression that for every two dexterity you get one accuracy and one ranged accuracy. I could be wrong.

two dex=1 accuracy point
two agi=1 ranged accuracy point
dex also affects critical hit%
and agi does affect evasion

That's what I thought: Dex = acc, Agi = Ranged acc.
