Hey, ive beaten FF9 many times, but I was wondering if there is any way to get Vivi to win the festival of the hunt. I Ko'ed myself in battle when Vivi was in the lead Freya won anyway. So, is there any way to get Vivi to win? Has anybody seen him win?
He can win but I don't remember how to do it. It involves killing the big monster thingy. Hope that helps.
You have to fight Zagnhol and have Freya kill herself then Zidane kill himself (in this order). Now Vivi should win.
Is it worth it to have Vivi win?
Vivi gives you a dodgy card. It's randomised, but it's not anything rare or special at all. It's not worth it at all. Nor is Zidane for that matter. The Coral Ring you get when Freya wins is pretty useful.
I'm sure Vivi won in my game...although I can't remember how, or why. I was just trying to win it normally.. *unhelpful*
I was annoyed that nothing fun happened when you win the festival of the hunt.
If you go to the Business District, you will find Vivi being chased by a Fang. If you save him early enough, he will suddenly start doing really well and will be up there with Freya in terms of points, and might actually win on his own.
first time i played fraya won and vivi came second but now i try to let fraya win but always win anyway and i do fight the zahganal how do you get it to come appear anyway?
you have to clear all the other districts and then come back to the business district, go to where the fountain and the weapon shop is, and it should appear
To me it only appeared after the clock got at 4:00 or less.
yeah, it doesn't matter about the other districys, all you have to do is wait for the clock to get around 4-3 mnutes
thank is was just wondering how else you could make it appear ive done the hunt more times than i finshed the game bout 10-20 times lol
