Even if the stats were true, I don't seriously believe it makes sense. First, because I always thought IQ tests don't really give serious results. Second because I don't think someone with a high IQ has to actually make intelligent decisions, you may have a large capacity filled with idiocy. And lastly, because I don't think all Bush supporters are ignorant tards: I think Bush is, and I think his message is too, but some people may just believe him to be the lesser of two evils. I don't.
If you split the electoral votes it would be different, or somthing. Because there were people that voted for the opposite party then the party color of the state.

I always thought the chart up top was suspect, because despite its reputation, Wisconsin consistently ranks among the more educated states, usually in the top 10.
That is complete and utter $hite, if only for the reason those numbers are seriously distorted. An average IQ of 85? You mean to tell me, most of the population suffers from mild retardation? And an average IQ of 113... that's equally impossible.
The average IQ is 100. IQ tests are set so that this numbers remains constant. Yes, due to evolution and crap, today's 100 IQ points are worth more than yesterday's IQ points... but that's not the point.
IQ points go up with "evolution"? Isn't evolution related to natural selection? Haven't we stopped natural selection by techne?
Plus, looking at the general panorama of the world today, I don't think IQ has gone specially up :D

As much as id like to beileve this too be true, im gonna have to take a page out fo the Dr. Unne book, something i read him write in response to something like this.
Its called Post hoc ergo prompter hoc which means After this therfore because of this. Though id really like to beileve it was true.
Even these are somewhat imperfect, because it's based, for the first one, on the population taking the SAT/ACT tests, which means that all the people who didn't are unaccounted for, and even then, we don't know how linked is the population that took the SAT test, and the population that voted. Example: Iowa (this chart, scores an average "IQ calculated from SAT" of 113, but with only 5% of the population taking the SAT.Quote:
