So people one of the most controversial things happening here is a debate concerning the national anthem...During New Years Eve time fire works will spurt and a disco version of the anthem will be played...
what are your views? should an anthem be changed/remixed/heard to fit in with this "younger generation"?
I heard it and it sounds horrible its like messing with the flag....i seriously dont think it should be played!
As long as it sounds good, change it, it's likely to be temporary anyway. It's probably the only time youth would hear it anyway, I know it's when I only hear mine. Heck, I don't even know mine. But that's not the point. The point is to party. And you can't party to unchanged national anthems, believe me.
See, this is the result of politicians trying to be hep and down with the diggy dogs of the new school. Old people + trying to be cool = running to the bathroom to vomit. *has a vivid flashback of Dr. Evil doing the macerena.* Tucka-Tucka-tucka-tucka huuuug!
I don't see how they can be trying to be hip and cool, because Disco died off years ago.

I think meh. The only interesting thing ever to happen with the anthem was when Hendrix played it. I really don't care.
