Knitter needs cosplayers help

Hey all-

I've been asked by some friends to make a simple knitting pattern for Rinoa's sweater/vest thingy, however I'm having problems finding enough high quality images to complete the pattern.

If anyone could help me find some images, I will be happy to post the completed pattern for anyone who whishes to make it.

What I need right now is a shot of the front detail of the sweater, a back detail of the wing pattern, and a full shot of her wearing it. I've tried looking at the images section on this website, and while helpful the images are too small and the only time you see the front detail of Riona's sweater is when her hand is clutching the ring, obscuring the detail shot I need.

As I've said, when done I will be happy to post the resulting sweater pattern and images of the completed outfit for anyone who wants.

Now, not only do I not know which images you've seen and haven't, but I'm not a knitting expert- my specialty is crochet, and i'm mediocre at best:) But I'll try. *has lots of rinoa pictures*

It looks like a fairly wide stitch, as far as I can tell. well, it would be in crochet. dunno about knitting:)

You're probably not going to find a lot of cosplayers/help on costumes here. I suggest heading over to http://forums.cosplay.com where there are tons of people that can help you on any aspect of any costume, especially those for Final Fantasy. You'll probably find me bouncing around those forums too. ;)

What about knitted FF barbie clothes??

Rikku's X-2 scarf can also be knitted.

PS: you can try knitting it in a 2x2 or 3x3 rib (I like to knit too)

i was hoping to ask Zaec for the knitted duster pattern that he/she might have figured out
but he/she doesn't have the email function enabled, so i can't ask =(

does anyone here have any more clues about how to knit the duster properly?

oh good idea, shame i chucked them all out, either that or they are stuffed under the bed somewhere.........
