I was expecting an amazing mini game after seeing the intro to the game but when I got to play it however I thought that it was a bit slow and sluggish to play as well as being boring and repetative. The first time I played it though, I thought it was ok but then it gets repeptative, there isnt even any music in the background.
What do you think?
I agree I only did blitzball to get wakkas celestial weapon

It is fun ocasionaly, but it buggs me tha they have left out the 3 dimension. The intro looked much cooler.

I loved it my second game. I didn't bother playing it in my first, but then in my second, I think I spent at least ten hours playing. and from the fact that my timer is 50 hours greater than this game (with a lot less actually accomplished) I think it was a lot more than that.
I was actually trying to get their abilities and stuff. man, those were the days. Score two or three times with tidus and brother, then let jassu and shuu pass in the back unmolested so they could become ubercool.
let's just say that wakka's stuff was more than easy to get.
I really enjoyed blitzball when I had recruited a good team, playing for fun in the tournys and stuff. I thought it was a really cool minigame. I loved tackling people and learning abilities, and I really liked coming up with strategies to up weaker players' stats.
The only time it got boring is when I had to play for hours on end to get Wakka's Sigil. That got boring, because I didn't want to play anymore, I was just doing so as a means to an end.
If you want sucky blitxball, check our FFX-2s. You can't even control the characters, you just watch the game speedroll by. What's the point?
Oh, and GARNET - I resized your sig to the max height limit allowed by EOFF and attached it - its humungousness was starting to drive me crazy. :)
No I did not like Blitzball. I didn't even get the Jupiter Sigil.
I didn't like this either. I felt that the stats were ... unbalenced. It didn't feel 'realistic'.. or should I say perhaps.. "It didn't feel like a well simulated sporting game within the framework of the FFX engine."
I think they could have done better with it.
YOUR IN WATER.. so why not be able to fire the ball upwards or downwards?
There was a lot of things they could have added to it. I only played the main first game ... the world cup, and then exparamented with it a little but not in my game I was working through.
I love playing Blitzball. It's fun, but it gets old. If I do a league all the way through, by the end I'm lucky if both eyes are still open. But I do like it.

It's not too hard to play if you get a good team together, and even without a lot of the best players you can easily win enough to get wakka's stuff.
