Blackjack/Pontoon/21 is way better. :p
I don't play for money much, but I do enjoy playing. I always win the M&M's, muahaha. ;)
I do the same thing. I play with a group of friends, who all pay five dollars each. I usually win, but we pay second and third place so I get around $20 to $30 depending on how many people play. We play with at least 7 or 8 people, but we've had two full tables going on some games.
I'm not the gambling type at all, but I can afford to lose five dollars once every week or two, especially when there's a chance dictated by a certain degree of skill (as opposed to just dumb luck) to make a profit. If someone suggested that we raise the buy-in to $10, I'd probably say no. Because that's how the gambling mentality works (ie. "Well, if I spend more, I have a chance to make more in return"), and soon the buy-in would be up to a gazillion dollars per player (exaggeration).
Poker? I hardly know her!
I played that >=O Once. I lost $5 and I quit. Then I convinced them I didn't have to pay cos' it was my first time playing and they should be nice.
I love <3  Texas hold'em!!!
I once played against one of my guy friends, I won every hand. He started swearing at me O_o
I like playing it with friends, but not for money.
My mom and sister are obsessed with it. I myself don't mind playing cards for fun, but I will never in my life play for money.
I don't get the sudden obsession with it. I never much liked it, and I don't like the idea of losing money, so I never bothered to get into it.
My friend and I used to play for crayons in our american lit class. I wouldn't play for money though, because I suck.
However, when you lost your favorite crayon, cyan blue, you were heartbroken for a week. :(Quote:

Meh, I guess it's better than playing strip poker in American Lit. class.
Love Poker, Blackjack, etc. Don't like risking my hard earned dough, however, so I just play for fun.
I play for fun when I'm helping usher with my jrotc class.
The only thing I've ever bet with was pennies, and m&ms. And when someone ran out of pennies, we split ours with them.
Your funny mate! :DQuote:
