Need Help!

I am in the second world, and am in the forest at the save point. I heard Galuf is going to die very shortly from a walkthrough. Although the walkthrough didn't give me any tips as to where to go to trigger Exdeath setting the forest on fire. Please help. I am stumped. And confused.

Ha. My problem was that I couldn't get *out* of the forest and I kept getting slaughtered.

Consulting the faq (I assume that your save spot is a ring of fire?) would seem to hint at going towards the top of the screen and left.

If I had a save spot at that point I'd double check that, but I don't, so I can't.

Um, good luck and make sure you get all the items?

Thanks for the help. I was having troubles cause I am playing the SNES rom on PC and it is a small window to see. Now im off to Exdeaths Castle :p

Ex-Death in his castle is Veeeeeeeery hard.

Exdeath was very easy!

It took me a year of levelling to beat him in his tower, not very fun.

That's when you start to mime bahamut over and over and over.
