Local Music Rocks!

Sick of the mainstream crappola on MTV? I know I am. there is a ton of good stuff out there, but it's so hard to find it unless it's on some big motion picture soundtrack. Let's hear some of your favorite local music that's way better than MTV stuff but never gets heard.

My first choice and favorite local Seattle band is the party starting United State of Electronica (USE). You can actually download their whole album here mannheimworldwide.
Seattle peeps probably know them but I don't know about anyone else. Let me know if you've heard of them.

An excellent group from New York City that I had the privelage to see when I was visiting, would be "Lisa Jackson and Girlf Friday" I suggest that everyone checks them out.

I like local groups.
