How and when do i get Mog?

I can't figure out where and how soon i can get mog altho im sure i get him in the moogle place in Narche.... any help?

After you have Terra back in your party (after the Esper deal), go to Narshe, to the house in the right hand corner. You'll find Lone Wolf there, and he'll run off. Follow him up the mountain, and he'll have Mog hostage. Just sit still and Mog will get up, and both will be thrown near the cliff's edge. You have the choice of saving Mog or Lone Wolf, save Mog. You have to complete this before the World of Ruin.

You can also get him in the world of ruin, he can be found somewhere in the caves in narshee.

That's after the party is seperated, and you have to find everyone again

However, if you don't get him in the wob, you won't be able to get Water Rondo.
