How many hours did it take you to complete the game?

Im not done the game yet, but so far im at Macalania and ive played around 16 hours.

EDIT- I did beat the game tho, but it was a while ago and I cant remember the total hours.

bevelle - highbridge - 60+ hours

I completed the whole game in 80 hours - but then I did it all again and completed it in just under 140 hours because I managed to beat all the dark aeons, max my character stats and do all the mini games etc (i have the pal version)

I've got over 200 hours on my 'yay for screwing around in the monster arena!' save.

Heh, I had 23 after bevelle in my first game, and this time it's more like 38 due to uberlevellingfun. I think it's about 40-50 at the top of gagazet because I got tired of the calm lands quickly.

About 114 hours. That was beating the game and doing a fair bit of the monster arena sidequest, getting a couple of ultimate weapons, but not really levelling enough to attempt the dark aeons.

first time exatly 184 hours thats not doing any sidequests apart from blitzball which might mean why i have a level 64 wedge whoot

50+ hours for North American version

everything completed except for Monster Arena...haha

I could've beaten it in about 45, but I decided to go all out. So far I'm at 49,.

I'm at 100 and counting... I've almost got my first two Ribbon armours - just 5 more overkills!

P.S. Is there any way to increase the chance of getting rare items at the end of a battle?

I think it took me about 58-65 hours to finish it - at least half of which was spent playing Blitzball to get Wakka's celestial weapon.

what exactly did you DO for a 1000 hours?

I'm just, you know, wondering;)

The first time, it took me about 40 hours, bc I blitzkrieged through the thing.

The second time, I went slower and looked for all the extra stuff, and it took me about 60.

Why the heck does it take everyone so long to beat it? It's not THAT long.......

fallen angel, there's a little thing we like to call the Monster Arena:)

earth eater takes a while to beat. he likes to counter attack everything so flares off the wall every where are annoying+take up time.

and some people like to play blitzball, that's ten minutes of playing and about three or five minutes of set up/positioning people.

but still, I can't see any of that taking one thousand hours. unless someone forgot to turn their ps2 off every night.

Oh yeah, monster arena....
